Canoe & rowboat can be used whenever the lake is not frozen - at you own risk, of course. * The Silver Lake Lake Community - you will be visiting a small lakefront community, with other homes and cottages close-by. Silver Lake permits the use of motorboats and jet-skis. You may encounter noise from neighboring properties, including barking dogs, loud fireworks, children, ATV, boat noise and similar disturbances. This is particularly true in peak summer season. Fall, winter and spring are typically very quiet.
Other Details to Note
Hendrickson Cottage is dog friendly, for up to 2 dogs with a $95 non-refundable pet stay fee (per pet). Please, no cats or other animals. Early check-in and/or late check-out is offered for an additional fee of $150 each, subject to availability. Early check-in allows arrivals after 10am. Late check-out allows departure before 4pm. Nearby: ★ World-class Fly Fishing - the Delaware River (West & East Branch, Main Stem), Beaverkill, Willowemoc, Esopus and others between 10 mins and 60 mins away. ★Lake fishing - Silver Lake has largemouth and smallmouth bass, pickerel, yellow perch, crappies & sunfish. ★ Take a walk or bike ride around our lakes - Silver Lake is a one-mile walk. Neighboring Crystal Lake adds 3 miles to the loop. ★ Oquaga Creek State Park - hiking, boating & fishing.
